This year’s calendar is the result of collaboration with MCLA Professor Zack Finch’s Creative Writing rock star students.

We explored three distinctly different techniques including pressure prints+linoleum, type collage and two-color linoleum block prints. Thematically we responded to the idea that If bodies are temples, why shame the gods within? as written by PRESS intern and apprentice Isaac Wood. This idea evolved out of conversations related to gender, identity and equality, in particular people who are traditionally disenfranchised.

The PRESS 2017 calendar is conveniently sized at 11×14 inches–perfect for a standard sized frame that you can purchase at most craft, big box or framing stores. OR hang from the included heavy-duty clip. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
