We’ve had a very exciting and busy start to the 2016-2017 academic year. This fall we are printing in our new home in Bowman Hall on MCLA’s campus. Our brand new facility already feels like home, and we welcome the connections we are making with other students and faculty. We’ve had a couple of PRESS on the Move events, and are looking forward to one more on Saturday, October 15, when Samwise, our latest printing apprentice will be taking the Golding to the North Adams Farmer’s Market. 

Pictured here is Isaac Wood, former intern and now printing apprentice with PRESS on the MOVE at the September DownStreet Art celebration at Thin Walls, studio and gallery of Josh Ostraff where Isaac worked this past summer. Isaac worked with Josh to design a card that has elements of his current well and serves as a save the date card for his upcoming exhibition at MCLA’s Gallery 51.

Following Isaac’s event, new printing apprentice Samwise Fox took the PRESS on the MOVE to the 61st North Adams Fall Foliage Parade. Maybe you were one of the lucky ones to get one of these gems?
