We had a great time with our workshop participants Martina and Elaine last Wednesday! They spent the first hour or so looking through our typefaces and cuts, deciding what would be included in their mantra compositions. Next they learned to lay out their mantras in the bed of the press so they would appear in the correct place on the paper. They learned how to adjust the press, ink it, and print! Because of the small group, Martina and Elaine’s cards were able to have two colors. Isn’t the green beautiful? We really love how different these two prints are; both Martina and Elaine’s personalities show through their beautiful work!
