We had a wonderful evening last night for the opening of AMALGAM, featuring the work of letterpress printer and PRESS intern Jonas McCaffery, and the photographs of a group of students from Drury High School’s E3 Program. A great crowd came out to support the young artists – and we were so glad to see them taking pride in their work! Jonas printed a new mantra card with a quotation from Janelle Monae: “I imagined many moons in the sky lighting the way towards freedom” – featuring a new woodcut bird that we’re very excited about.
