This last Thursday, October 10th, was a great night of poetry thanks to MCLA Professor Emeritus Abbot Cutler. This event was in honor of the publication of Cutler’s new chapbook, Say Dance, Say Night.

That night, Cutler read from the book, which was published by Slate Roof Press. Say Dance, Say Night covers 12 years worth of writing and includes poems about his experiences in Borneo while in the Peace Corp in the ’60s, and up to recent events like the death of his father.

We always love it when Abbot reads, and we hope that he gifts us with his words again soon.
