Karen Arp-Sandel and Suzi Banks Baum, aka Fe-Mail, brought their incredible energy, laughter and easy-going attitudes to PRESS! It was a great day for me, Melanie, to watch and work with these two wonderful artists and friends. They go with the flow, encourage happy accidents, and are really easy to please. I love working with people like this!
Suzi brought a few cases of her own type and cuts. They mixed that with some of PRESS’ collection to create a grouping of type and a grouping of cuts. Really super fun stuff! It was great watching the various experiments on regular, found and painted papers emerge from the press.
