We had a great time Late Night North Adams! About the same number came through 105 Main and saw us printing between 11 pm – 2am that came through during the rest of the day. It was great to see North Adams residents and visitors alike out and about. This was the scene outside PRESS.

DJ Spooky and Todd Reynolds filled our ears with rhythm and inspiration. Such fabulous entertainers those two, and what a collaboration. The high from that night will last for days!

Creation happened inside PRESS, too. Melanie began carving the outline of a figure at 8:07 p.m. She finished around 11 p.m. and then began to print. (NOTE: Do not carve linoleum like Melanie is doing right now. NEVER carve towards yourself, you don’t want to end up with stitches or a carving tool in your gut.)

By the end of the night the Solid Sound Seven were up on the wall and ready for consumption. If you make it into the shop sometime in the next week, you’ll get to vote on your favorite.
